NFFD 2019: Prompt 24 & Happy Endings

Happy Endings

Write a flash with a happy ending.

For an extra challenge, try to write a flash that has a joyful, celebratory mood, but that still has a feeling of resolution or sense of movement by the end of the piece.

If you’re submitting this to us, make sure to note that this is a response to Prompt 24: Happy Endings.

Thank you for joining us for The Write-In 2019!

If today's barrage of writing prompts have inspired you to write some new flash, feel free to submit your work to us at nffdwritein@gmail.com. We'll be publishing some of the results over the next few days.  (See our Submissions page for full submission details.)

Finally, before you leave, if you've enjoyed The Write-In or any of the other National Flash Fiction Day projects, please consider helping support National Flash Fiction Day by becoming a patron of NFFD at Patreon (for as little as £1 a month), by making a one-off donation via PayPal, or by any of the other ways we've listed at our Support NFFD page (many of which are free).  This project is a labour of love involving countless hours of work from a whole host of volunteers, and we need your help to continue.

Thank you and happy writing!
