'Alice Back in Wonderland, or, The Reckoning' by Suzanna Lundale

 

Alice checked her supplies: tea flask, catnip, sword-cane croquet mallet, mushroom bandolier. A final tap of her mock-turtle-shell helmet, for luck, and she jumped.
