'Happily Ever After?' by Anita Goodfellow


The salt stings my lips. The bright sun casts the last months into shade - the sleepless nights, the reek of disinfectant and harassed doctors. Abbey skips through the waves, her hand in yours. Her flamingo pink swimsuit is too big for her, but she’ll grow into it. She will.
